Road
If you’re coming by road, you are most likely to arrive in Inverness from the south on the A9. To reach Red Point you should follow the A9 north from the city over the Kessock Bridge and follow the A835 at the Tore Roundabout which takes you to Garve beyond which the A832 turns off to Gairloch and Achnasheen. At Achnasheen follow the A832 on through Kinlochewe and down Loch Maree until, 3 miles south of Gailroch you see the sighs for the B8056 to Badachro and Red Point.
If you are already in the Highlands you can also reach Gairloch from the north, coming south from Ullapool on the A835 and following the A832 at Braemore. The Red Point/Badachro turn-off is three miles south. From the southern Highlands and Skye follow the A890 which turns off the A87 5 miles south of Kyle of Lochalsh and join the A832 at Achnasheen.
